Indeed, Sue.
I don't buzz my hair, won't get a tattoo, don't wear lipstick, and am way too wimpy for martial arts. Don't even watch SPN! It seems to me that there are two ways for me to feel close to ita. The first is to be here, because we both love the Buffistas. And visiting DH's best man who moved back to Jamaica a year or so ago is now higher on my list. I will surely shed even more tears when I feel the warm Jamaican sand and surf between my toes.
How did you all decide to switch your Facebook picture from the pink gingham? I am having issues because it feels so final, and I don't switch a lot as a rule.
I haven't been able to switch mine yet. I was considering switching it to the ultrasound picture but the couldn't decide if that would freak people out as a profile pic, so I left the pink gingham.
I needed someone to be able to recognize me so the switch was made.
I had a thing to switch to that made it seem like the right move.
I generally don't wear makeup, but I bought some Black Honey because. Actually wore it at work one day when I needed some extra perking up, and one of my coworkers mentioned it was a good colour on me and I nearly burst into tears. But in a good way.
I had an occasion to post a picture of Storm in full wrath mode, and it seemed like a good transition - not pink gingham, but still itaesque.
It felt like time.
I went into cheese for half mourning, then brought back LLAP for Nimoy.
"Cheese for half mourning" is a lovely, funny phrase.
Lee, I finally got my package (mix up at package place). Thank you. It's a skeleton hands choker, btw. I remember ita discussing skeleton jewelry and thought it might be some of that.
Still seems so weird. So unbelievable.
Mine was a change more of a latteral. Winter in my heart.
How did you all decide to switch your Facebook picture from the pink gingham?
I've changed mine to various pictures of me doing things with other Buffistas.
We're going to remember her in our own ways. I'm probably not going to buzz my hair or take up martial arts, but I did get a tattoo and go to New Orleans. I recently picked up ginger beer because of ita, and discovered that it's totally my jam.
