Thanks, Rayne.
ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
And thank you, Pix, for taking on the task of planning a later memorial for ita.
Anything I can do to help in some small way.
Vortex, I will absolutely take you up on that offer. Let’s talk some time in the next couple of weeks about next steps.
The obit is so lovely.
Strangely, given that my knowing of ita was solely online, the print version both hits and comforts me so much more than the digital.
Bless everyone who has worked so hard, helped, planned, encouraged and supported ita's family.
Today, I got to spend time with a friend who belongs to another online community and has done for almost as long as I have been here. It was so comforting to be with someone who gets what a loss like this can mean.
I just want to hug and/or express appreciation in a non-tactile way to everyone here.
Damn where is that "like" button.
The obituary is lovely. Continued warm thoughts to LAistas.
I just got home, and while I have gone through the Facebook comments and tried to answer questions, anything more than that is going to wait until tomorrow. Burrell and I did hit up Fedex on the way to the airport, so I should have the box of stuff by Wednesday.
Glad you got home safe and sound, Lee.
Thank you so much for putting me up for the night on Saturday. It was great getting to hang out with you again.
Yes, me too. Need to hang more.
That was kind of the take home message: need to see people more
The obit is marvelous, for a 'make me cry at work' value of marvelous. Very well written.
JZ- yea
Pix- I think that would be lovely (and might even be able to bank up a couple days worth of vacation time given a few months.)
Allyson- your hair is the shiniest.
Lee and Burrell and LAistas doing all the things- your eyes are like shiny stars
