Hee, Dean continuing to say "Jinkies" is pretty cute
Supernatural 3: Family don't end with blood
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I only half-ass watched tonight's Supernatural (13.22, "Exodus"), because I was working. I'll watch it for real, later, when dh is done watching the sports. What was up with AU Castiel's accent and facial tics?
I posit the theory that they made him so objectionable on the surface, so that the fandom wouldn't be clamoring for two Castiels.
(Either that, or Misha did a whole bunch of drugs -- with the director.)
Does anyone know? Has anyone seen/read anything about it?
Also, why did they have to make Mary want to stay in AU (until Sam and Dean presented an alternative)? I don't know if that was supposed to make her more heroic, but it just seemed to me like she was doubling down on her escape-leanings. I'm glad she didn't stay, but it still displeased me for the moment.
There was not much about this episode I liked. Bobby's beret might be it.
The CW didn't pick up Wayward Sisters. That makes me sad. It looked really interesting. (Instead they picked up The Originals spinoff... which... ugh.
Poor choices, CW. Disappointing.
I agree, -t. The Originals spinoff was a particularly poor choice. Hey, Rayne. Long time no see.
The Vampire Diaries was good, until it wasn't. Getting The Originals off of it and onto its own show was good for TVD, but I didn't enjoy The Originals (although I know people who do).
But that 'verse is tapped for now, I think. I don't see that spinoff going anywhere.
The Wayward pilot did slightly better in the ratings than the SPN season average, so I'm really surprised they passed over it for an untried Originals spinoff.
Do you think Gabriel is dead-dead? I know we saw his wings and everything, but we just had a Gabriel-Loki story, so I'm hoping it was a fake-out.
Any thoughts on the finale? The big development is certainly eight years later than expected.
I just watched it, and I'm still under-caffeinated, so right now I have mostly, Holy god is he beautiful in that suit.
That's the best part, Amy.
So much meh. At least Lucifer is finally gone for good and I'm loving Michael's look but otherwise, yawn.
Why is there an Originals spinoff?
