What's your favourite grilled cheese sandwich recipe?
Essential Baking Co. rosemary bread, thinly-sliced Braeburn apple, and lots of super-sharp aged cheddar. Cooked with butter in a skillet.
HOWEVER, I am a grilled cheese sandwich fiend, so I will eat almost any variation. And now I kinda want to get some plain white bread and American cheese slices, because nostalgia.
It happens, msbelle! It's good that you can get it taken care of tomorrow. The water bill, I mean. I have fewer ideas about mac and homework, sadly.

Okay, that sounds awesome.
My ideal grilled cheese is the one from the one cafeteria in college (the other one didn't make them)--just plain white bread and american cheese, but oh so good. I think it involved lots of butter to make the bread crispy.
Possibly in honor of the grilled cheese discussion, I did just make myself a quesadilla...
Radiologists are different from X-ray techs, which I think is what ZenKitty was suggesting. I forget how, though, except for them actually being MDs or something.
Xray techs would DO the X-ray. Radiologists would READ the Xray (or CT scan, or MRI, or PET scan). The radiologist doesn't need to be in the same room/hospital/country as the patient--they can look at the scans and say "Yes, this is broken" (or more complex-ly, "yes, this is probably a tumor that has grown from 1.2 to 1.5 inches, whereas that over there is probably atelectasis of the lungs, and this is a nodule on the kidney that has been there since the initial scan, and...")

Honestly, I think the best grilled cheese requires a grill in a coffee shop or diner that has that built-up grill grease/flavor.
I have way too thoughts about grilled cheese. I should eat dinner.
I do occasionally like to use mozzarella cheese in a grilled cheese, because the cheese gets all stretchy and string-y.
Jilli! I hope this doesn't sound crazy, but... Tim's company got a bunch of tiny keepsake memorial urns to scrap, and he wondered if that was a gothy sort of thing you might want. It looks sort of like this, size- and design-wise: [link]
And if that's weird as hell, or you just don't want more stuff, that's cool. But Tim was very excited about them, so I told him I'd mention it.

Actually, I would love to have them. They'll probably creep Pete out no end, but he's used to that by now.
He saved one, because he didn't want to throw off the weight of the scrap load by pulling a bunch out (it's heavy for such a little thing!). If you want just the one, email me your address and I'll send it to you.
Diner grilled cheese is its own kind of delicious, its true. Especially with a bowl of chili or tomato soup. I also have great fondness for the "Killer Grilled Cheese" cooked by stoners over camp stoves in the parking lots of Dead shows. In general, I have come to believe that more butter -> more delicious grilled cheese, but I can't say I've met a grilled cheese I wasn't pleased to eat.
Eating grilled cheese sandwiches and seeing Fleetwood Mac would go in the good stuff column. No water and no homework, not so much!
My not working hard enough in school 20yo just stopped by on his way to go hunting for 3 days. I talked sternly with him about his anatomy class and how much better it would be if he seriously studied. Yes Mom. You are right Mom. See ya Mom, off to go play with the guys.

I mean, seriously, how could this formula ever be wrong. More butter -> more delicious. And more hot melty cheese -> more delicious. And toasty bread -> more delicious. And... oh, look at the time.
