I want to do something different, but I don't know what. That is a bit of a problem.
Yes. Or more, I don't want to choose something only to discover it was the wrong thing, so I have to be absolutely certain.
Everything different that I'd like to do requires going back to school. Which is fine, except for cost and time, and needing to actually make an income *now*.
Yes. I read Julia Child's memoir and was inspired that she was a late starter. Now I only have to find a husband in the foreign service to support my learning to cook in France.
I feel you. I am a bit stuck in my current job situation and have been contemplating becoming an heirloom apple farmer.
Can I be your official pie baker?

Oh, I'd like to look into this program as well!
BTW, Jesse, I think Zappos must have it out for you--I ordered from 6pm.com late last night and they already sent me the "it shipped!" email (...I really don't need $110 Frye bright yellow heeled oxfords. But they're so cute! And just what I'm looking for, in terms of heeled oxfords! And yellow goes with...lots of things!)
Do I have to get rid of the current husband to enter that program? I kind of like him.
ita, I don't use a recipe for grilled cheese. It's basically cheese of one kind or another, butter, bread of one kind or another, and a skillet.
I've often thought radiology would be a good career. Pretty standard hours, generally clean environment, important work that can't be outsourced, if you're looking for someone to actually run the machines.
My actual cooking experience with grilled cheese is similarly basic, but from the consumption end I've found that the addition of pesto sauce and sauteed onions really makes one tastier.

Same here. And I'm a Philistine who uses American cheese. (I like the way it melts, and it tastes like my childhood. If I want fancy grilled cheese I can hit up a food truck.)
What's your favourite grilled cheese sandwich recipe?
My love of grilled cheese is endless and varied. The most frequent additions to cheese is usually avocado and/or tomato. Also partial to thin sliced apple or pear. Then again making it into a tuna melt with spicy mustard is darn tasty too. Type of cheese is likewise varied, from as mild as ricotta or brie, to strong swiss or even blue cheese. Too much to love about grilled cheese, or toasted cheese as my family calls them.
Served with soup rounds it off best.
eta: won't find me turning down american cheese either!
Radiology is outsourced like whoa these days, or at least the reading of the x-rays often is. It's true the technicians need to be in the room with you, but they don't rake in the pay. Actually pretty sure radiologists don't anymore either now that their pay scale has been undercut by outsourcing.
oh yum, can I eat at your house, Laura?
