I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Last load of laundry (towels, natch) in the washer.

Do I have breakfast and lunch for tomorrow? No I do not. Oops. Oh well, I have credit cards.

I'll decide tomorrow whether I'll try to make tomorrow's showing or not, I guess. It might be more convenient than Wednesday? Hard to say.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just saw Frankenstein with JLM as creature version last week. Two years after I saw the other version. Contrary to popular opinion, I enjoyed this version more.

I didn't see both versions, so I'm not qualified to compare them, but the version I saw was JLM as the creature, and he was astonishing. Absolutely loved him.

I saw Dear White People as a breakfast movie this morning ($6.50 before noon). Though the Oprah CHAISPIRACY continues--once again I bought an Oprah Chai, and then after I waited for them to make it for like, 10 minutes, they suddenly were all "oh, we uh...don't....have a pump for that. Sorry." What???

Then I went to a friend's pumpkin-carving party. Now my roommate has something that smells good in the crockpot...and she is apparently in the ER with a foot injury from football.

What did you do to Oprah that she would deny you her chai, meara!?!

I suspect that Oprah chai doesn't even exist.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It does exist and it is delicious!

Jesse, are you part of the Oprahspiracy?

YES I AM I mean, NO I'M NOT.

Jesse is totally part of the Oprahspiracy.

I suspect that Oprah chai doesn't even exist.

It DOES and it is DELICIOUS. Which is why DENYING ME MY CHAI is so MEAN. Especially when they get my hopes up by first taking my order and my money, and then waiting ten minutes before saying NOOOOO. For weird bullshit reasons like "we don't have a pump for that" What???

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Does anyone have recs for finding a recruiter or where to find jobs? I haven't done this in six years, so I'm not sure where the best place is to look these days.

I'm sure my family won't be happy if I move, so I figure I should at least attempt to look for what's available before going the transfer route.
