A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I adulted all week long, and my beloved cat has officially been missing for a week. And for every thing I do, I have 10 more things lined up behind it, with added family, friend and ex wife drama.

BUT. But. I have to say, if all this stuff happened to me even 6 months ago, I would not have been equipped to handle it.

So even though I should do a load of laundry and clean the bathroom and wash all the baseboards in the upstairs with bleach solution tonight...FUCK NO. I am going to take a shower, bait the cat trap and watch The Walking Dead. IN NO PANTS. /rebel

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope Cosmo comes home soon, Strix. And you enjoy your pants-less zombie watching.

I'm going to go pick up Popeyes in a little bit and get a Fudge Pie if they have them, because why the fuck not?

Right on. I'm about to order in. For the same reason.

Bed made. Laundry still going.

And ditto, Strix -- sending Cosmo go home vibes westward.

JenP, Vitamix's are magical, but not for the faint of wallet.

I did the onerous task of cleaning out some of the garage. Because I have to bring my stuff home before taking it to my new school.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I am so full. A very successful family dinner -- my mom had invited a cousin of hers, so then also her siblings et al., so we were nine people total. It was very nice! And my mother's dinner was delicious. AND I have a ton of TJ's blue cheese and pecan dip leftover, so a win-win.

That sounds great!

That does sound great. I am hungry, but unsatisfied with my current choices.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That sounds nice, Jesse.

I had a tuna sandwich for dinner. But I'd had two pieces of toast and an apple for the rest of the day, so it was pretty much the best tuna sandwich ever.

Thanks, Kat. It's most definitely not a need for me or anyone I'm feeding (which is noone), but the six minute hot soup had me transfixed. OK, and the orange chocolate fondue. And the way it confetti-ed ice.

Sounds like a fun evening, Jesse. Great to have cool family so close.

I seem to be watching Star Wars Rebels.

I said to my mother, it was like Thanksgiving, only less so, which kind of made it better?
