HELL YES Lumberjanes.
Sushi for lunch. And the fresh-made counter at the supermarket finally got eel sauce back, so it's doubly yummy.
That sounds so good. I think I'm hungover from drinking for 8 hours yesterday, and so far I've had: pumpkin pancakes and sausage, a cherry icee, and buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. But now I want sushi.
I'm apparently having one of those rare "eat ALL the things!" hangovers.
I have spent some time being an adult today. I got some work done to make up for being sick on Friday, and I switched our electricity plan. Later, scanning important documents!
I have made significant progress with both kitchen and luandry, which is very good. Taking a break until 6p or so. Except I'm making the bed first. I hate when I foeget to do that until bedtime. The worst.
My major accomplishment today has been changing a light bulb. But it was a difficult light bulb, in one of those dang light fixtures that's held together with screws, that's been needing changed for weeks, and I replaced it with an LED, so that's good, right?
Man, I'm tired.
Timelies all!
Waiting for the post-con dinner run.
so that's good, right?
Right!
I've done one round of dishwashing and put one load of laundry in the washer. Not much in the way of actually completed tasks. I have planned my clothing choices for the work week (Halloween week (which I hear in the Dean's voice (inevitably followed by All Saint's Day Month)) calls for planning):
- Monday: orange dress with black & white stripey shrug
- Tuesday: black cat/yellow moon/orange pumpkin turtleneck with jeans, maybe black blazer?
- Wednesday: Pink tarantula button-down, probably also with jeans
- Thurday: Halloween appliqued purple shirt with black skirt and batwing shoes
- Friday: all the clashing black and white prints and patterns I can fit onto my body
Fortunately, this will not require me to do an awful lot of laundry today. Some of it could probably do with ironing, but I still don't have an ironing board. Or an iron. So.

Ha! Yes. And good outfit planning.

That's usually what happens to me, the next day I am a garbage disposal. And very susceptible to suggestion when it comes to food.
Re: earlier conversation - I believe most stainless steel anything is dishwasher-safe, whether it is labelled as such or not. Unloading my dishwasher made think about it.
BTW - our outlet sale is coming up. Bay Area-istas, if you want to come and shop while I am working the cash register, that'll be 12/4 and 12/15 (the first and last days) all day at the Fairfield location. And this year we have been given coupons for the website that we can give out to friends and family for 40% off. I have been told that one could use said coupon even before the outlet sale starts. I don't feel like posting it to the internet would be okay, even here, but if anyone could use such a coupon just e-mail me or whatever and say so.
