I feel like up to one picture/video per day in the first year of life is fine!
Seriously. (I have a FB friend who has posted over 500 pictures of her baby, who is turning 6 months this week. I know I'm not a parent, but -- that seems OTT.)
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I will look at all the baby pictures, all the time, seriously.
I don't think we're actually friends on Facebook, though, bon.
Hooray tenure!
I wonder if I will actually get the potato salad for tomorrow's potluck made tonight or if I will find myself chopping root vegetables at 5 am. Again.

This is what I'm saying.
What's the story about going to Iceland for the eclipse? I couldn't find the original posts about it but we were looking at airline prices today and they aren't too bad. I want to see the Northern Lights too (never have)! Think they'll be happening then?
Congrats on all the big life things, bon bon! Especially smiley baby!
Amy is me. I'm pretty much only on Facebook for cute baby photos. Otherwise I would have fled from annoying relatives ages ago.
Buying a house AND tenure AND a smiling baby? Sounds like serious win to me. Also I third the request for pictures.
I wish I had good advice for ita. I hope Drew is on his way to Ireland now. I think a TSA guy at the San Diego airport just recognized me, which is frightening because I'm not at THIS airport all that often!

I don't really have a bucket list, per se (hello, complacency), but I would like to see the Northern Lights. It doesn't have to be in Iceland, though. Although Iceland would be cool, too.
So far my bucket list is: Northern Lights, Grand Canyon. Maybe do a 10K (walking, not running). (Of course, I haven't even done a 5K yet, so I suppose that should be first.)
Shooting high, that's me.
I have an ipad mini! And I don't think I broke my mail. (And yet, I'm on my laptop now.)
I think I officially have too many devices.
I wanna see more bonbaby!
Because of swimming, I usually shower at least 2x a day. 3 if you count the pre-swim rinse. Days off might just be the swim showers. Days off with feethly making work around the house? There might just be 3 or 4.
What's the story about going to Iceland for the eclipse?
It is a Thing that is Totally Happening but is not so much concretely planned yet. I have a credit card with a high limit and I am not afraid to use it in the interest of (a) seeing a total eclipse and (b) going to Iceland (which I have wanted to do all my life for no particular reason and dammit, I'm going to go!)
I was looking at this tour package, because that would be easy. I think their write up did mention Northern Lights (which I would also love to see and never have). I would be happy to consider less packaged possibilities, of course, but probably wouldn't be able to pull together much myself.
