I am waging an uholy war to get medication today. You know, so that someone medical treats my pain instead of me stabbbing myself to relieve the pressure. This has been going on since before 8. I don't know what to do, but I want to do rthe responsibile thing and have nurses and docvtors take care of me, But my neuro is on a retreat and everyine else is scared,
I'm in exhausted, in so much pain, and considering unwise ways to distract myself from the head and shoulder pain.
ita, have you tried marijuana? Apparently indica strains are good with nerve/muscle pain. You can get it in the form of hard candies which are slow-release. I haven't tried them, but I hear good things. Pretty easy to get a card if you don't have one, or maybe you could ask someone you know with a card to pick you up some.
Timelies all!
Hugs for all who want/need them.
Amy, yeah. We'll see what happens later tonight. Good thing I have a very relaxing yoga class at 8; I think I'll need it. And a glass of wine.
ita, the MJ suggestion is a good one, but my god, I feel so badly for you, and I wish I had superpowers, like healing powers or at least teleportation so I could blink over and help you.
Pumpkin spice Hershey Kisses. I did not need to know these things existed.
I hope in the hours since you've found some healthy respite, ita.
I dislike having meetings run by people in the late afternoon who don't know how to keep it on focus or end it. I just wanted to go home...
Mmmmmmm. I just had dark chocolate with ginger and red wine. So good.
it seems the best way to do intermittent cups of coffee.
Well, you could go low tech like I do
One cup filter
I have that for travel now that I'm a French press pot woman. Used to be my main coffee maker when I was a one cup, not 3. Ish.
So this weekend I had cleared off and decluttered my coffee table. I've now bruised/scraped both knees on its corners. Maybe I needed the clutter to notice its spacial location...

My sister-in-law makes pottery, and she made us one of those pour-over filters: [link]
