OMG I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TIME ZONES WORK. A guy said to me "Can we talk at 1:30 Pacific," and I immediately put it on my calendar for 10:30 eastern. At least I realized ahead of time.

Dear Universe, this is what I want. I want an 1800+ square foot house, with 3 bedrooms and 1.5+ baths. I want a lot that's 50x120+. I want it in Clifton Gaslight, ideally on a good street, like Wood or Whitfield, but I'd settle for near Oakley (like Drake) or Hyde Park fringe (like Kendall). A bungalow would be ideal, but I'd be happy with a tudor or foursquare or anything predating 1940. It would be better to have fewer larger rooms than many small rooms; a well-laid out house means a lot. It can need cosmetic fixes as much as you want, but shouldn't need more than 1 of new roof/new furnace/etc. Knob and tube wiring and structural problems are right out unless the price is really low. Pluses would include off-street parking, a working fireplace, and a screened porch (hey, a girl can dream). I don't give a shit about granite counters, a finished basement, or decks. And it needs to cost under $300K. I know this is a lot to ask, but I've been a very good girl.
I think it's time for south Texas to start building an ark.
Aw, Sparky. Yay, puppy!
All toads are named Trevor.
Except the ones named Toad.
Jesse, won't your calendar figure that out for you, if you let it?
Y'all. I do not have any lunches made. I'm at a loss.

Oh snap -- I never noticed the Time Zone setting thing. I will totally use that moving forward. It's got to be better than counting on my fingers!
I think I have repurposed enough Second Breakfasts to get through the day. Crisis averted

Ever the Trevor, never the Clyde.
I did the same thing as Jesse yesterday and had to work it out on notepad."let's see, he wants to meet at 1:30 his time⦠"
I am constantly writing out charts of what time it is where, because I am often trying to coordinate conference calls across three time zones. Just the other day, it was one person in London, one in Siberia, and us in Boston!
