W-E-E-K-E-N-D
I think I might sit for a bit and have a cup of tea before jumping into Operation Clean All the Things (with a planned sidetrip to Pressure Cook Frozen Meat Boulevard)
ETA: yeah, meara, I want to say I've seen some place that recycles cables and made a mental note because I also have a TON of various cables and chargers that are useless to me, but it was only a mental note and I doubt I can actually come up with real information...
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday meara!
Other than the monthly visit to the comic book store, no real plans this weekend.
Pleasurable errands day! I dropped off my sold eBay items and ita's box and stopped by Joann's and got yarn and a new loom and discounted storage bins--hooray for frou frou companies whose bins look like everyone else's and who mark them down drastically when no one wanted to buy the expensive frou frou ones!--and a new, ceramic skull mug.
And I dropped off the key to the storage shed! It's completely done with, I can mark that payment off the monthly list! Yay!
Next task--get the VIN off the '69 Mustang in the backyard so I can give it to the DMV to track down the title. Then call the dentist and find out why they haven't cashed the check that pays them off.
Impressive, Connie!
Kalua-style pig (ish. I made substitutions) on the stove.
Argh. My slow bathtub drain appears to have stopped entirely.
Sigh. I suppose late afternoon on the Friday before Labor Day is asking a little much to have office staff available--or, in the case of the power company, enough staff so that the customer service line doesn't have eternal holds. At least I have proof the power company cashed the check.
Good one, Connie!
-t, have you done bleach? Although I guess that's more for when it's slow.
You know how I always talk about how I need to work at home? This weekend it is FOR REAL. I also want to go to the beach and then have to clean a lot in preparation for my family coming to stay.
I have not tried bleach! I tried baking soda & vinegar, and a plastic snake (apparently no clog in reach), and I'm about to go for whatever industrial chemicals I can find for sale. I might have bleach in the garage, though.
