I'm watching the Divergent movie. I'm also more than a little tipsy. Their Chicago geography is whack.
I do know a couple of people in the credits though. Good for them.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Did the movie make you care about any of the characters? The book didn't, at least for me.
Bleah.
I just did the most onerous of all onerous tasks: I crawled under the house at 10:30PM, and hunkered down in the dust and god-knows-what on the floor of the crawl space, dodging the furnace ducts, I nailed hardware cloth (like heavy-duty wire screen mesh) over the entry way that some sort of animal was using to get in.
Worse, I found animal poop under the entry. Eww.
It was hard! And uncomfortable! And I have insulation in my hair!
So I'm drinking some scotch before I go to bed.
Holy crap, long quake! Any other Bayistas woken up by that?
Yes! Startling.
Looks like a 6.0 between American Canyon and Napa.
You're a whole lot closer to it, aren't you? Did your critters wake up? We had one neighborhood dog wide awake and furiously barking its disapproval.
Yeah, I'm pretty close. Walter got up and would have preferred we went outside but didn't bark. The cats didn't move, as far as I can tell, although they are all drifting closer to me now. We didn't get a big jolt with this one, but it sure went on for a long time.
Heh. It'll be interesting to see how that shows up on my sleep quality stats.
I heard the 6.1 news this morning and wondered if it woke any of you. Earthquakes are not something I have experienced, but fracking may change that both in Florida and the Adirondacks.
