Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like a 6.0 between American Canyon and Napa.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

You're a whole lot closer to it, aren't you? Did your critters wake up? We had one neighborhood dog wide awake and furiously barking its disapproval.

Yeah, I'm pretty close. Walter got up and would have preferred we went outside but didn't bark. The cats didn't move, as far as I can tell, although they are all drifting closer to me now. We didn't get a big jolt with this one, but it sure went on for a long time.

Heh. It'll be interesting to see how that shows up on my sleep quality stats.

Our wings are not tired.

I heard the 6.1 news this morning and wondered if it woke any of you. Earthquakes are not something I have experienced, but fracking may change that both in Florida and the Adirondacks.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yikes! Hope it was more shake than damage!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Did the movie make you care about any of the characters? The book didn't, at least for me.

Not really. Tris wasn't as weepy, so that helped some. Christina is likeable (and WOW does Zoe Kravitz look like her mom!). There wasn't much development for the initiate relationships which was made more confusing with Peter, Al and Will looking alike. Ashley Judd, Maggie Q, and Kate Winslet are the most interesting parts of the movie though.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I woke up, but fell right back to sleep once it had ended. Y'all have more energy than I do.

Apparently only minor damage so far.

I cannot believe that's the biggest one we've had since 1989...
