The last few weeks I've been reading a lot of apocalypse fiction, which has oddly helped me feel better. I can tell myself, "Well, at least it's not the apocalypse..."
Seriously, this anthology is great:
Amazon.com: The End is Nigh (The Apocalypse Triptych Book 1) eBook: John Joseph Adams, Hugh Howey, Jamie Ford, Paolo Bacigalupi, Seanan McGuire, Sarah Langan, Nancy Kress, Jonathan Maberry, Tananarive Due, Scott Sigler: Books
And that lead me to Hugh Howey's awesome Wool Trilogy books:
Amazon.com: Wool Omnibus Edition (Wool 1 - 5) (Silo Saga) eBook: Hugh Howey: Books
Oof, tommy, that's a lot. Best wishes to you all.
I love that series, tommy. Hope the distraction is helpful.
Sorry, tommyrot. That's a lot to deal with.
All sympathies, tommyrot.
Summer of woe, keep on moving, we're tired of you.
Oh tommy, I'm so sorry. Much peace~ma to you and yours.
ION, iPhones totally suck when you try to use them in dreams. Last night I tried four or five times to google something on my phone, but I could never even get a single word entered to google it--it would just autocomplete with nonsense. Also, dreamland San Francisco's commuter rail lines are totally confusing and my phone was no help there either.
But I did dream in color the other night--I was thinking about that lately and wasn't sure if I dreamed in color these days.
