Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yes, Theo, whenever people bag on Williams as an actor, that guest shot is something I always defend--he nailed it.(Of course, being Kay-heavy and ambiguous, that's one of my favorite H:LOTS anyway.) "I had the power, but forgot who I was."

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

flea, it sounds like your DH wants to go, but it doesn't make sense for all of you to go, esp if it means the kids missing an event that would mean more to them.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm teaching myself how to do new tricks with JSON and JavaScript objects (and why they aren't the same thing).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know flea. That kind of sounds like mr. flea could go alone? Taking off work and missing a previously scheduled event is kind of a lot if you never met the dearly departed.

I think everywhere I've worked that had non-frat policies it was only within the reporting structure. Has not been an issue that mattered to me for a very long time, so I haven't necessarily paid attention, though.

I won a dutch oven at work! I should stew something.

Yeah, if it's someone he's worked with for three years, and known (even if casually) for a long time, I would definitely say he should go. But it seems a bit much for you to get off work for it, and I doubt the kids would get much out of it, though maybe they'd love a bonfire.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Prosecco then self-eval is totally the way to do it!

Sadly, it was the way to not do it. But maybe tonight?

flea, it sounds like your DH wants to go, but it doesn't make sense for all of you to go, esp if it means the kids missing an event that would mean more to them.

I agree with that. He should go, but the rest of you don't have to.

I won a dutch oven at work! I should stew something.

Sweet!

That picture is incredible.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

flea, it sounds like your DH wants to go, but it doesn't make sense for all of you to go, esp if it means the kids missing an event that would mean more to them.

I agree with this. It sounds like your DH should go, but it doesn't sound like there is any reason for you or the kids to be there.

information libertarian

Yeah, so I told him so, and now he's mad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I vote with the majority too, flea.

Man, the guest star on this Starsky & Hutch episode looks weirdly like Misha Collins.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just heard Dr. Phil saying that he wished Robin Williams had called him. Arrogant, much?
