I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Waiting to get my prescription filled. Oh, hello earworm. Free wifi at the hospital, apparently.

Eta: maybe something like a fuzzy bathrobe or sweater or something? Because that's kinda like a hug.

Grrr. People, when you've bragged about un-computer savvy you are, do not argue with me about what steps you should be taking to install the program! You just got done talking about how you're a guy in the field building houses, you don't have time for this computer stuff, I don't think you have any room to challenge me on what you should be clicking on! Stop confusing the mouse for your dick!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, who has birthday gift suggestions for my sister?

From afar, I like to send people flowers and/or booze, depending.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

As I recall, Kara once announced "I have 100% penis!" I hope I recall correctly, because I've been laughing about it ever since.

Gifts are hard. I don't even know what to get for people I know, most of the time.

I don't remember C0CKSICLES, though.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Here's some happy news. Some good friends had a baby girl yesterday.

Xyla Ashe Mayre Last Name-Last Name. A big moniker for a wee little girl. Her older sister is Jynx, and she totally pulls it off, so. But I have already asked if we can call her XAM!

(Smonster, you know her aunt Christina H-S.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

How do you pronounce Xyla?

In additional (small) good news, we found out yesterday that CJ will get his braces off at the end of the month. Of course, we had his senior pictures scheduled for next week, but I called and pushed the appointment out until after his ortho appointment. We thought it was going to be at least another 8 months of metal mouth.

How do you pronounce Xyla?

Zyla? Like the beginning of Xylophone?

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for baby Xyla!

Yay for getting rid of braces!

And of course, yay for 100% penis or 400% as the case may be!

Xyla and Jynx? What are they, scrabble nerds who want the most points?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

meara, Since Tom didn't answer, I decided to interpret his question as a suggestion for fuzzy slippers. Of which there are approximately 4 gozillion pairs on Amazon. Favorite color? Favorite animal (yes, bt, there are penguins). These [link] made me smile, though might not be the vibe you're going for. Or these are fun: [link] Wizard of Oz casuals? [link] Or does she have a fandom? If it were me, one of the big pillow Tardises or the stuffed Capt America or fleece blanket would make me smile and feel long-distance huggish. [link] [link] [link]
