It was just the right weather for a walk down to the harbor. So that's what I did at lunch.

And now we have a hummer in the quiet room...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yep, mine was $5K also, but that covered *everything* - office visits, adjustments, the whole thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just looked, and my dental insurance says I only have to pay $2K for orthodontia! I wonder if invisalign counts for that. Crap, now I really want to figure this thing out.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You only have to pay, or it will only pay the first $2000? Mine is the latter, and I hear that's considered good insurance.

Ugh, the guy in Australia who keeps using my email address for things has struck again. Now I'm getting travel quotes for Sydney to Fiji.

He's my Australian Tino.

I can't quite tell, but either way, if the "actual" cost is $5K, that sounds pretty good, no? Plus tax savings with an FSA.

Yeah, mine wouldn't cover me at all. I can only get orthodontia for my (non-existent) children.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That sounds worth it to me.

Man, facebook's new algorithms focusing on article links makes facebook feel like flipboard to me. A really, really bad flipboard with articles picked out by people whose interests are completely unrelated, and perhaps actively counter to mine.

Since facebook is acquaintanceville for me, and most of my acquaintances are people who share my upbringing, and most of my political, ecological, and entertainment interest are now basically perpendicular to that upbringing, it's really annoying.

I am pseudo-quitting social media over sabbatical (sabbatical has started!) by lurking, mostly. So the fact that I'm not interacting with any of the personal info stuff means that over the year, my feed will become less and less interesting to me.

Mine claims to cover adults, but of course I would make sure before committing to anything.

liese, I'm not sure what your sabbatical plans are, but I'd love to see you if travel is in your future.
