I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

I've only been over there for traffic and family court, not jury duty.

Called to a courtroom over in the post office; now they can't decide if they want us or not. A lot of us, like 100.

brillig

The weather forecast for the next ten days has rain predicted on 8 of those days and only one day cracking 90. It is bliss.

And back to the waiting rooms. They'd have to cycle all the way through the pool to call us again, so there's that.

Good luck, Sara! I think I've only done jury duty twice--once in Seattle (didn't get called) and once in DC (ended up in a ridiculous two week long obstruction of justice/intimidating a witness trial)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, we're having open enrollment, and I'm thinking about getting an FSA for braces -- or, more likely, Invisalign. My teeth aren't that crooked, but they've gotten worse over time. So if I straighten them would they just wonk out again in ten more years? I can't decide if that would even be worthwhile. I guess I should go for a consultation with an orthodontist. Hmmmmm!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jesse, that was my situation when I started Invisalign - my teeth weren't THAT crooked, but were getting worse. Now they are straight, and I am much more confident about my smile (I never realized how much that crooked front tooth bothered me). Invisalign is not cheap, but it may not be as expensive as you think either. It was worth it, to me, to be able to eat and brush my teeth normally. As to whether they'll wonk out again, they will, but at the end of your alignment, you get a permanent retainer (probably just the last aligner), which you should wear at night to keep them from sliding back into old habits. I got used to it fast and it really is no problem. It also keeps me fromo clenching my teeth at night.

So, tl;dr, it's def. worth it to consult an orthodontist who has experience with Invisalign.

Yeah, I was just talking to my coworker who has it, and I had forgotten about the retainer part -- I already sleep with a mouthguard, so that won't be anything new. She said hers is about $5K. So maybe I will see about a consult!
