That sounds worth it to me.
Man, facebook's new algorithms focusing on article links makes facebook feel like flipboard to me. A really, really bad flipboard with articles picked out by people whose interests are completely unrelated, and perhaps actively counter to mine.
Since facebook is acquaintanceville for me, and most of my acquaintances are people who share my upbringing, and most of my political, ecological, and entertainment interest are now basically perpendicular to that upbringing, it's really annoying.
I am pseudo-quitting social media over sabbatical (sabbatical has started!) by lurking, mostly. So the fact that I'm not interacting with any of the personal info stuff means that over the year, my feed will become less and less interesting to me.
Yeah, mine wouldn't cover me at all. I can only get orthodontia for my (non-existent) children.
Mine claims to cover adults, but of course I would make sure before committing to anything.
liese, I'm not sure what your sabbatical plans are, but I'd love to see you if travel is in your future.
Got released at 3 and ran a couple errands on the way home. Ahhh, I can swim at my usual time....
Invisalign is def. orthodontia. I'm jealous; my insurance only covers it for kids.
I'm not sure what my sabbatical plans are either.
Originally we were supposed to do time at folks' places, then debrief at this retreat center our friends run out in Kentucky, then time in Springfield at the gym we like, a recording session in Kansas, and then mostly home. But we're in such rough shape that we called off the gym already.
(I have a cold with a persistent cough. The Biscuit just had to have surgery because he swallowed a large bone whole. The SO just found out he needs major oral surgery.)
It is a rough start, to be sure.
Ooof. I'm sorry. Sounds like a tricky start.
Yeah, but we would love to see you, so I'll see how things go. We have the whole year.
Timelies all!
Relatively cool here.(High 70s/low 80s for the high today. For late July that's downright chilly.)
Sounds like a general break is in order, Liese.
