I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jefferson David statues in KY or MS make sense to me. From KY was US Sec of War, was Senator from MS.

Statues elsewhere? ehn. I think no.

How times have changed. I just apologized to the jillifont in the corner of my bathtub for the way my shoulder messed up all his work. He was hiding behind a bottle of body wash at the time.

I always was fond of jillifonts. From the time I was little, flies, mosquitos and so on have gone after me. And no I don't skip showering. It used to be a joke among my friend: get Gar to come outside, all the damn mosquitos will go after him and leave the rest of us alone. And jillifonts eat the damn things. They are allies. I don't want them in my house, but if I find one there I make sure to get it outside alive. Any other type of insect in my home dies, but jillifonts get transported to the garden.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Jillifonts and I live happily together in my house unless they are poisonous or big enough to have visible mandibles, in which case they are safely escorted to a comfortable relocation option. Jillifonts are a large part of my War Against Fruitflies which is an ongoing saga.

Same here. After my annual strawberry binge, I noticed some fruitflies, and then they just stopped. A little while later I saw a wee little jillyfont in a wee little web, with dozens of shriveled up fruitfly corpses below. I cleaned up the leftovers, but left the web and resident. Cutest pest control ever.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Alas, most of the jillifonts in my house are of the brown and reclusive variety, so they gotta go. The garden-type jillifonts are more than welcome, however.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I can't believe that there are people in Rochester who think it is OK to fly the confederate flag. First off, unless they are southern transplants, it isn't their heritage and second, you can't swing a cat without hitting something about Frederick Douglass. I was always so proud to have that history, along with Susab B Anthony. Most of the objections are along the lines of How can we create a law because some people's feelings are hurt. Which sort of misses the point.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Is someone talking about banning Confederate flags? I hadn't heard that.

I am not into today. I would vastly prefer to spend it curled up on my couch in front of the fan even though the office has A/C and it's another over a hundred degree forecast. Bah.
