Jillifonts and I live happily together in my house unless they are poisonous or big enough to have visible mandibles, in which case they are safely escorted to a comfortable relocation option. Jillifonts are a large part of my War Against Fruitflies which is an ongoing saga.
Same here. After my annual strawberry binge, I noticed some fruitflies, and then they just stopped. A little while later I saw a wee little jillyfont in a wee little web, with dozens of shriveled up fruitfly corpses below. I cleaned up the leftovers, but left the web and resident. Cutest pest control ever.
Alas, most of the jillifonts in my house are of the brown and reclusive variety, so they gotta go. The garden-type jillifonts are more than welcome, however.
I can't believe that there are people in Rochester who think it is OK to fly the confederate flag. First off, unless they are southern transplants, it isn't their heritage and second, you can't swing a cat without hitting something about Frederick Douglass. I was always so proud to have that history, along with Susab B Anthony. Most of the objections are along the lines of How can we create a law because some people's feelings are hurt. Which sort of misses the point.
Is someone talking about banning Confederate flags? I hadn't heard that.
I am not into today. I would vastly prefer to spend it curled up on my couch in front of the fan even though the office has A/C and it's another over a hundred degree forecast. Bah.
The Supremes opinion in the ACA case: 5th Cir affirmed, subsidies available in all states, 6-3. A win for Obamacare!

No! THey are just stupid.
The Chief Justice wrote the opinion. In other news, tomorrow is their end of the year party, where the clerks make fun of the justices via skits. "Too easy," I say.
Yay SCOTUS! Now I can only hope for a good gay marriage ruling either to kick off Pride weekend or to cap it...
