I can't believe that there are people in Rochester who think it is OK to fly the confederate flag. First off, unless they are southern transplants, it isn't their heritage and second, you can't swing a cat without hitting something about Frederick Douglass. I was always so proud to have that history, along with Susab B Anthony. Most of the objections are along the lines of How can we create a law because some people's feelings are hurt. Which sort of misses the point.

Yay SCOTUS. I think we as a country are getting our heads out of our asses on a few things. But really only a few things.
I had no hate posts or emails after my tweet/fb post re: defending the civil war/the flag/ancestors.
Also it is one day closer to the weekend and I have no plans. Yay!
