Natter 73: Chuck Norris only wishes he could Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I call it the DMV because that's what I grew up with!
Secretary of State in MI and IL.
I have pulled the trigger on a two-night stay in a hotel on the beach in Venice, California. That was harder than taking the trip to Vegas next month. I'm used to Vegas, the whole experience is geared towards tourists, keeping them close and protected. A hotel on the beach is so unstructured. I'd walk out of the hotel and anything could happen.
But this is what I need to do. I can't let the shells of the old life freeze around me. It's not like I'm going to be wandering the streets of Compton after dark.
Life without training wheels is hard.
I wish the powerpoint I just edited had fewer pictures of wounds and crazy infected holes in the skin on people's butts.
OMG Sophia.
RMV (Registry) here, FWIW.
Now I'm suddenly grateful that the last powerpoint I edited just had a few charts and tables and zero pictures of wounds, etc.
Connie, I support you in stepping out into life unprotected. It's scary. But a hotel right on the beach is an nice way to take that step!
Man, I got in and out of the BMV with no wait. That's unprecedented.
I should check the backyard and see if there's a unicorn out there.
In MA it's the RMV, but I still end up calling it the DMV because that it is what I grew up with in RI.
Yay. Connie! I recommend a visit to the Santa Monica Pier. Depending exactly where in Venice you're staying (and your fitness level), it may be walking distance.
