Breakfasts good to go through next Tuesday. I'll need to make more pancakes and buy some bacon sometime in the next 10 days, that should be manageable. Working on lunches and dinners now...
ETA actually taking a break right now, but putting salads in jars pretty soon.
I made a cobbler, but now realize I need vanilla ice cream. Why are there no ice cream delivery services?
There really should be. Repurpose and ice cream truck and bob's your uncle, right?
My simple fast guac recipe is avocados, lime (or lemon if that's what's on hand), salt, small clove of garlic (crushed), and either sriracha sauce or salsa. Guac needs a little kick, but spice it up according to your own tastes.
Chopped an onion in the food processor, all teary now. At least it's not on my hands, she said wiping her eyes.
Water heater is 50-gallon, electric. Not upgrading, because the new type of heaters are one inch to wide to fit through the door. Price includes installation. I don't know if that includes bringing it up the narrow winding stairs. Thanks for the advice, all.
One inch! Damn. Are you getting it delivered? I am confident that either the delivery people or the installation people (if they are different people, if that's all the same person I am more confident) will bring it upstairs for you.
Salads made, pot roast in the microwave, I have meals through next Monday with a fair amount of variety. And I still have a bunch of raw kale and that second goose egg to figure out how I want to eat. Did not get much f anything else done, but that's okay, keeping myself fed is probably my primary responsibility these days.
BTW, if anyone was wondering, the soufflé did not reinstall. Kind of popped the first time it was in the oven. Still quite tasty.
Guac: avocado, lime, salt, nothing else.

Yep. Oooh, I have those things. I could go make that RIGHT NOW.
My microwave just made an unusual noise and shut itself off. That's new. I think the pot roast is probably done, anyway...
