Guac: avocado, lime, salt, nothing else.
Yep. Oooh, I have those things. I could go make that RIGHT NOW.

My microwave just made an unusual noise and shut itself off. That's new. I think the pot roast is probably done, anyway...
My microwave will sometimes shut off early when it senses what I'm heating is done. Usually it's right.
Really? Neat. Maybe it's a feature I never knew I had.
And I still have a bunch of raw kale and that second goose egg to figure out how I want to eat.
Sautee the kale in butter/garlic/lemon, serve poached goose egg on it. Voila! You just need something like quinoa to make it a some fancy spa biz.
I was already considering that! Without the quinoa. I don't need no stinking grains.
Are you getting it delivered? I am confident that either the delivery people or the installation people (if they are different people, if that's all the same person I am more confident) will bring it upstairs for you.
Yes, it's being delivered, and the guy is bringing it up the stairs on a dolly. The last time someone did that (washer and dryer delivery) they messed up the floor and I have a weak floorboard at the top of the stairs now. I'm bracing for this delivery to turn into a broken-floor disaster. Because there's money in my savings account, and the Universe will not let that go on!
Ah. Well, I hope it goes better than you expect.
Microwave has not healed itself overnight. Fortunately I think I have a spare out in the shed. And meanwhile, frittata reheats in the toaster oven just fine.
Timelies all.
I had a great weekend which included a fantastic wedding. The bride has a literature degree and the groom is a sports fanatic. The bride doesn't like traditional weddings and would have happily eloped, but her family insisted on putting on something more traditional. So, she made it her own.
