I have been adulting this weekend also. I culled a ton of shoes, some in the trash but most donated. I made two trips to donate clothing, although I still need to make one more trip next weekend. I've thrown away two garbage bags of stuff.

I've done laundry and the dishes and gotten groceries. I made a giant pot of soup tonight and have so much soup in the refrigerator. I walked about 21 miles total this weekend. While at a friend's watching hockey yesterday, I even went out on her weird narrow metal balcony to wash her windows because she was too freaked out to do it herself.

I need to cull. Hell, I have 3 boxes of clothes from 5 years ago I still haven't donated. And not because of some attachment, just not gotten to it. I need to do a weekender clothes cull/transition to sloppy projects clothes. And get new un-holey respectable casual tops.

Which is hard because I hit 3 places this morning and I don't see anything I like. I'd like to branch out from plain scoop neck tshirts , but might not be an option. Hell, colors right now, even that's not much of an option...

I will get a bulk trash pickup scheduled for all the broken fans, suckless vacuums and assorted other crap that at least I've migrated to the garage. Not next month, unless I can get one of my neighbors to haul it out-I won't be here, whee!

Polgara invited me and Burrell to a clothing exchange thing. It was good to get rid of stuff (yay!) and I picked up an entire new set of clothes in shades of black, white and grey mostly. I am so stinking predictable.

What the hell is it with roofers leaving shit on my roof? And not even my roofers! Next door neighbor had his recoated and they left a coffee cup, squeegee and some roofing material- and that's just what I could see. I have no idea if they left shit on the main roof. If it isn't gone by tonight, I'm gonna ask him to contact them.

Oh, I really want to host a clothing swap. My friend who usually does it lives in the far suburbs, and is pregnant, so I want to ask her if she'd mind my taking it on. I should get on that!
