I am not a vet, but I've never heard of throwing up blood being a sign of a heart attack. Yikes. Poor Folly.
Are you giving Folly any nsaids?
me neither Zen, but I am just making inferences based on what I know occurred yesterday. Vomiting is very common with anesthesia, which is why that's my first guess, but heart attack seems not impossible. Either way, just trying to keep her calm.
He wants her on a low dose aspirin, Ginger, in addition to the beta blocker.
Burrell, I’m so sorry about your kitty.
People, I am futless and need motivation. I have a ton of work to do this weekend—a final project for my grad class (due in a week and I’ve barely started) and a ton of grading—and I need to go grocery shopping (we don’t even have milk and we’re out of dishwashing tabs), but I want to go to brunch with someone first. This is when working the exact opposite schedule of the people I love in the area sucks a lot. I like being alone a lot of the time, but even an introvert needs some company sometimes.
poor beast! I wish my mother would let me do something more special for Mother's Day than another lunch at Olive Garden. I mean, I like it there, but it's not super-special unless you just got off the tour bus in Branson or something.
I know we may not be supposed to do this-- but I am crafting the ballot for the current vote. Since it is a little weird, because I didn't really propose the vote and don't have a strong opinion, I am trying to get a sense of what people are looking for-- I asked some questions in the voting thread and would love it if people could take a gander...
Just saw on FB that my friend who is currently traveling in Nepal is OK, thank god. This, BTW, is the friend who is heading up a major NGO's Ebola team in Liberia. I kind of cannot believe the shit he has seen and been through in the past year.
Okay, it is so wrong to spend your year dealing with Ebola and then on vacation have a 7.8 earthquake. What the heck, planet?
