Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I know we may not be supposed to do this-- but I am crafting the ballot for the current vote. Since it is a little weird, because I didn't really propose the vote and don't have a strong opinion, I am trying to get a sense of what people are looking for-- I asked some questions in the voting thread and would love it if people could take a gander...

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Just saw on FB that my friend who is currently traveling in Nepal is OK, thank god. This, BTW, is the friend who is heading up a major NGO's Ebola team in Liberia. I kind of cannot believe the shit he has seen and been through in the past year.

information libertarian

Okay, it is so wrong to spend your year dealing with Ebola and then on vacation have a 7.8 earthquake. What the heck, planet?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad your friend is okay, Kate!

Compassionately intolerant

Burrell, I am holding Folly in my heart. Bless you all.

Kate, how wonderful to get good news out of that situation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Poor Folly. Making her comfortable at home sounds like a good choice.

hip deep in pie

Burrell, My cats Pico and Clio both had vomit blood at some point and both times it was due to irritated stomachs. With Pico, it was because of medication, but Clio would eat grass and throw up blood. (Not that it ever stopped her from eating grass.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Judging by the state of a small, formerly mostly white dog, there's a large muddy hole somewhere in the backyard.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Chumley has been really listless the last couple days -- mostly uninterested in food, which is majorly worrisome.

The Nepal quake was felt in Pakistan AND Bangladesh. That's one hell of an earthquake.
