Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Everyone here was rooting for the Sabres to lose- because something about draft picks. The Sabres are terrible.

The other team near here is also terrible- the Maple Leafs. But I have a real soft spot for Phil Kessel because he is so grumpy!

OMG, the wind out there. It looks like a beautiful sunny January day, clear blue skies, snow-covered roofs, and it feels like it, too, up here at the office. So cold and biting I had to hit my inhaler because my lungs were shutting down in protest.

It'll be in the near-70s in two days.

ION, what do windshields cost, if you're not getting it replaced due to cracks or whatever? Mine is so pitted from dust or whatever that it's a hazard when driving into the sun.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Tweet from mayor of Ottawa to the mayor of Toronto earlier this week:

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Traditionally I have rooted for the Blues and then the Flyers if the Bruins don't make the playoffs, but I'm not actually familiar with any of the Blues players this year. Maybe I'll just root for Canada like I do in the Olympics.

I'm assuming that the Bruins aren't in it this year? Because I'm not being asked to watch any games.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Don't know the cost, but you could probably get a ballpark quote from Safelite if you give them the make and model of the car.

Oh- and the Blues have TJ Oshie. WHo has an adorable daughter and is pretty cute! Also, I think he did well at the Olympics.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have heard it said (on Car Talk? Don't remember) that your car insurance might cover windshield replacement even if there isn't a crack if it's a matter of unsafe driving conditions. Depending on your coverage, of course.

I've made an appointment with TechnaGlass tomorrow, I can show them the pitting and they can submit it and we'll see. If Geico won't cover it, the cost is well within my abilities (maybe I'll use my new credit card with the hot rod flames on it).

I think the weather equipment in a town north of here is broken. They're showing 111% humidity. I think we would have noticed if they'd melted.
