ION, what do windshields cost, if you're not getting it replaced due to cracks or whatever? Mine is so pitted from dust or whatever that it's a hazard when driving into the sun.
I have heard it said (on Car Talk? Don't remember) that your car insurance might cover windshield replacement even if there isn't a crack if it's a matter of unsafe driving conditions. Depending on your coverage, of course.
sara, that is some seriously cool stuff!!
The statistics class is aimed at people who fear statistics and it promises to relate everything to daily life
What is this class?
I've made an appointment with TechnaGlass tomorrow, I can show them the pitting and they can submit it and we'll see. If Geico won't cover it, the cost is well within my abilities (maybe I'll use my new credit card with the hot rod flames on it).
I think the weather equipment in a town north of here is broken. They're showing 111% humidity. I think we would have noticed if they'd melted.
I am doing some time tracking at work (because we were asked to estimate how much time I spent on each individual class that I support, which is not how my job description is broken up)-- and my boss and I had a terrible time. I am using this software called toggl, which is a time, and you can track by projects.
It is a little ridiculous, because I do my work by batches like "emails", but now I am tracking which class the email is for, or if it is "general", and I have things that I do that take 30 seconds or less in this manner. So I might spend a half hour answering emails, but some of them, for some classes, take less than a minute!
Also, do most people actually work the whole time they are at work? I have no idea where to put the "buffistas" time??
"buffistas" time??
Support staff enrichment?

What's the category for filling out the stupid tracker? Seems like that's going to be a big one.
I've been working on our Hubble 25th event for the planetarium and sarameg just made my job harder!
But in a very, very good way. (i.e.: embarrassment of riches!)
YAY SCIENCE!
