What the hell, the Reds just scored their first run of the year on a balk. Not the most dramatic way to start the season.
Don't knock the balk. The Braves got to the playoffs on a balk. (The balk is one of those baseball rules that I put in the "now you're just messing with us" category.

Am eating a kosher for Passover frozen dinner because Gary's away on business. It's roast turkey, and I managed to spill hot turkey broth on my right pinky finger. Over all, not a great experience. (The mashed sweet potatoes are the best part of the whole thing.)
The balk is one of those baseball rules that I put in the "now you're just messing with us" category.
I'm pretty sure Tim doesn't believe that one (along with the infield fly rule). He's pretty gleeful about HBP, though, and thinks you should get more bases depending on how hard you get hit (like if you get hit by a 100 mph Aroldis Chapman pitch, you should just get an automatic run, because DAMN).
Aaaaaaaaa, this baseball game! Todd Frazier just hit a 3-run home run into the second deck. DAMN.
And here comes Chapman to bring it home. I love love LOVE watching him pitch. He's just not human.

Ha, I remembered to go to the grocery store. Cookies for me. Also olive oil and dried apricots and cream cheese, but the cookies I am eating right now.
I have a surly teenager. Surly teenager is failing 4 classes at the moment. Surly teenager is attempting to rewrite history and is suggesting that when I said I was not going to look at his grades and hound him and research the teacher webpages to stay on top of assignments for this 6 weeks, that "it was up to him to do all that", that the punishment for failing grades would also be up to him. Oh, it is to laugh. He has no electronics except for school work and I am not engaging until he emerges from his surly mumbling under his breath existence.

I'm making matzo brei. As far as I can tell, there is no such thing as a vegan kosher for Passover frozen dinner. (Though, now that I think about it, I bet there are some that are kosher for Passover by ingredients, even if not certified, and I generally just go by ingredients.)
I am at the point where I hate packing. And moving. I need a msbelle. I promise to let you have Dream Nathan.
(I am good at packing - I have packed most of our house in very little time and will be done by Saturday morning as scheduled - but right now I hate everything and wish to have a bonfire.)
