I have a surly teenager. Surly teenager is failing 4 classes at the moment. Surly teenager is attempting to rewrite history and is suggesting that when I said I was not going to look at his grades and hound him and research the teacher webpages to stay on top of assignments for this 6 weeks, that "it was up to him to do all that", that the punishment for failing grades would also be up to him. Oh, it is to laugh. He has no electronics except for school work and I am not engaging until he emerges from his surly mumbling under his breath existence.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Am eating a kosher for Passover frozen dinner because Gary's away on business.

I'm making matzo brei. As far as I can tell, there is no such thing as a vegan kosher for Passover frozen dinner. (Though, now that I think about it, I bet there are some that are kosher for Passover by ingredients, even if not certified, and I generally just go by ingredients.)

I am at the point where I hate packing. And moving. I need a msbelle. I promise to let you have Dream Nathan.

(I am good at packing - I have packed most of our house in very little time and will be done by Saturday morning as scheduled - but right now I hate everything and wish to have a bonfire.)

I so wish I could come, despite you being a home wrecker of my imaginary life.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am pretty boggled that there are kosher for passover frozen meals in the world. I mean, i can see how there would be, intellectually, but I can't imagine actually seeing one in the wild. Not in these parts. The tiny selection af nearest grocery store has gotten even tinier this year.

Dang, Downtown Specific Plan meeting tonight. I should really go to that. Would much rather sit on my couch and make my DVR feel loved and appreciated.

One of the grocery stores near me has a couple. I think just stuffed cabbage and one other thing. They've also got a few Tabachnik frozen soups that are Kosher for Passover -- I noticed the cabbage soup and tomato soup, since they were vegan, and I think there was also chicken soup.

The brand on the frozen kosher for Passover dinners is Mon Cuisine.

I couldn't even find boxes of cake mix this year. Pretty bad. Probably if I crossed a bridge or two there would be more on offer.

I've got a Wegman's near me, and they seem to order the same selection of Passover stuff for all their stores, whether there's a big Jewish community in the area or not. They don't have a huge selection of brands, but they seem to sell a pretty good selection of the things made by the few brands they do use. They even had a few of the Kitni products this year. (Manischevitz, a few years ago, finally acknowledged that not everybody follows Ashkenazic rules, and started selling a few things like peanut butter and canned beans with a "Suitable for those who consume Kitniyot during Passover," under the Kitni label. I'm actually fine with a regular jar of peanut butter with no Passover label, but I buy the Kitni stuff just to show that there is a market for it.)

My legs are requesting a divorce. I was fine when I got up, reasonably sore, but not bad. And then I sat at my desk for 90 minutes. When I stood up, I had to grab onto the wall and stand there, swaying until I was somewhat sure I could walk. And even then, it was a shuffling stagger. Whoa. Once I was moving for a bit, got more limber, but everytime I sat, pure reversal (but sitting isn't painful.) Swimming felt like I was dragging cement bags behind me (and was significantly slower.)

Kinda blown away, because I didn't wake up this broken.
