I just cut back my Xfinity services to bare-minimum basic, which somehow comes out to just over $100/mo. And am cancelling a couple other things, like my Lynda.com membership, which should help a wee bit.
Through a combination of stupidities on my part, my car insurance has been cancelled. I can immediately (as of tomorrow) get back on, but I'll have to pay my year's bill in advance, which totally wipes out my savings (not that I had much).
I'm not in pain, but I still feel like I have a headache. Which is weird.
I've got this weird sinus pressure thing going on that doesn't hurt that much but it's totally distracting and making my head feel heavy. Like a bobblehead.
I woke up and basically my first thought was "msbelle is going to kill me."
brb cackling forever
Oh dear, Theo! Yikes.

Oh yeah. I've had a couple of migraines recently that didn't really hurt (and/or responded well to a handful of tylenol and advil) but did not help my productivity any, either.
Oh no, Theo! Argh. Also, that sounds expensive for bare minimum cable.
I wouldn't describe the headaches I've had the last couple of days as migraines, they just aren't, but they are accompanied by the feeling that my brain has been removed and my skull stuffed with cotton. Do not like.
Oh, Theo, what a pain. I'm sorry.
Huh so the just below the surface grumpiness is all because of flea? Good to know. You nasty lady having the dream sex with my imaginary actor boyfriend.
Well, the bare-minimum is actually basic cable- basic internet - local phone, and bundled they actually cost less than billed separately.
I'm trying to tote up all the money I put out for Minet, which I really doubt I'm ever getting back from his Mom, who is in more dire straits than I am. Back-of-an-envelope it's over $900. In how bad taste would it be to set up a pass-the-hat on GoFundMe or someplace to beg very politely for some help with that?
(I mean, asking only what I can absolutely document, like the vet bills and the insulin and syringes.)
Oh, shit. I need goals for this quarter. I totally forgot about that.

Not in bad taste at all. I think you should do it.
That makes sense, Theo. I guess for all three that isn't so bad, but my mental sense of what things cost is stuck in the 80s or 90s so everything always sounds expensive to me.
Asking for help seems okay to me. That's a not insignificant sum you spent on a compassionate cause. I don't know the practicality of those things, but it doesn't seem in poor taste to me (especially if you can do it without alerting Minet's mom that it's happening, just because it would probably make her feel bad)
