brillig

I understand the eel guy only got slapped once--plus rehearsals--but I feel like he should get royalties for how many times I went back and forth in slow motion.

Our wings are not tired.

In case Amy has a chance to make it here after a busy day eating cake, Happy Birthday!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

information libertarian

Last night I had my first celebrity sex dream that included actually having sex with the celebrity in question (usually we hold hands and talk about our feelings.) The celebrity in question was Nathan Fillion.

I woke up and basically my first thought was "msbelle is going to kill me."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was going to natter in Literary, but thought I would bring it over here instead. In church the other week, we sang a gay-liberation-related hymn from the 80s that includes these lyrics:

We are man and we are woman, all persuasions, old and young

And I immediately thought, there is no way someone progressive writing a hymn that alludes to sexual politics today would include "we are man and we are woman," because what about everyone else?? And then I wondered if I've been spending too much time on Tumblr.

That is fantastic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I woke up and basically my first thought was "msbelle is going to kill me."

Ahahahahaha!

Unrelatedly, happy Amy cake day!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Incredible how msbelle can make an 8-hour car trip fly by. She really is The Nicest. Just edging out my lovely hostess smonster of course. Thanks also to Nora and Tom for a fabulous (though too brief) stay in NOLA. Tired now.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That's hilarious, flea.

Hahahah! Oh, dear. True true. And yet, reading the post you linked to made me all sniffly.

I feel like ASS today. Woke up after (in theory) 8 hours of sleep, had a horrid headache, took some pain meds, went back to bed for two hours. Woke up with the headache mostly(?) gone, but my head feels like....my brain is mis-aligned with my skull, and therefore not quite working? I'm not in pain, but I still feel like I have a headache. Which is weird. Also, I'm still tired. UGH. (But this weekend was fun and I'm trying to figure out where I could go to do another one this summer maybe)
