Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Still wired. My cats are even asleep on me and that's after abandoning the strange new humans in the spare room. (Well, they both seem more fascinated by the boy. K,they know-and love her hair- from previous catsitting. The boy.. Well, both cats stuck their whole heads in his shoes. They were kinda stalkery.) I really want to like this boy, but I'm only managing tolerating. Awkward, but still tolerating another friend's husband 15 years in. Just as much who I am as they are.

I vacuum and mop every other week. It's the only way I can keep the fur in check. It leads to secondary cleaning. But my windows got filthy this winter (I blame blowing snow) and I don't wanna talk about dusting and clutter. But bygod, I will have clean floors.

Dusting . . . that's where you blow the fluff off the top of the books when you pull them off the shelf, right?

Ok, think I'm wound down enough for bed.

As an aside, the favors at the shower were old teacups and saucers (and biscuits and tea. S's dad was British and they'll be honeymooning in London.) I scored a mismatched (well, teacups and saucers match) set of 4 from folks who don't want the Stuff, but I'm charmed by them. Not collecting, but I'll have my four set. Not that I do tea often, but still. They're pretty and delicate and so at home in my house.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

2am and I'm still awake. Crap. I'm gonna take drugs and go to bed. Anon, my peeps.

3am and I'm still at the dance. Awake but my feet hurt and trying to decide if I should save energy for tomorrow, or try to dance and enjoy while folks are here (dancing sunday daytime is not as fun because daytime and because everyone is Done)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If only I had posted right when I got up! 7am and up and at em! Now dressed and breakfasted and ready for church.

Our wings are not tired.

I take em to the field where someone put a bag holder

I should see if I can rig something up at the park across the street from my house. Too many people seem to "forget" to bring pet bags.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate. May there be chocolate and pretty eggs and stuff. I have to go grocery shopping this morning to make dinner later.

Well done, Jesse! I was up early because laundry really needed to happen.

I'm up for the third time. Maybe this time it'll stick. 6:30, I had to shut Loki out of the bedroom, he was going after my jewelry.

information libertarian

I've been up since 6, waiting and watching the clock until Whole Foods (our nearest coffee purveyor) opened at 8. I bought coffee, toilet paper, 2 warm baguettes, and orange juice. It's been kind of a rough week (though I did procure Easter Basket supplies in advance. Run out of TP yes, disappoint kids on holidays no.)
