You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If only I had posted right when I got up! 7am and up and at em! Now dressed and breakfasted and ready for church.

Our wings are not tired.

I take em to the field where someone put a bag holder

I should see if I can rig something up at the park across the street from my house. Too many people seem to "forget" to bring pet bags.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate. May there be chocolate and pretty eggs and stuff. I have to go grocery shopping this morning to make dinner later.

Well done, Jesse! I was up early because laundry really needed to happen.

I'm up for the third time. Maybe this time it'll stick. 6:30, I had to shut Loki out of the bedroom, he was going after my jewelry.

information libertarian

I've been up since 6, waiting and watching the clock until Whole Foods (our nearest coffee purveyor) opened at 8. I bought coffee, toilet paper, 2 warm baguettes, and orange juice. It's been kind of a rough week (though I did procure Easter Basket supplies in advance. Run out of TP yes, disappoint kids on holidays no.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They say you should have six months' worth of your income set aside in case Something Happens, and that makes sense, but I've never actually had that. I don't know a lot of people who do. It almost feels scary, to contemplate having that.

I'm currently at four months and it's the most I've ever had saved. I figure if something so bad happens to me that I not only lose my job but can't get work in a factory or as a trash collector after four months, I'll be collecting disability.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Bit windy here, but not as bad as yesterday.

I have washed every window in the house save the basement ones, and I don't care about those.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Zenkitty, have you looked at Unfuck Your Habitat?

Dana, I have. That has been probably the most helpful to me, especially the idea of not expending all my energy all at once. I still need to figure out strategies and schedules to make everything work for me.

A good point. But the savings account isn't just for me to live on if Something Happens (I can't say it, I'll jinx myself), it's also for things like the new roof I'll need eventually.
