Jeez, sara. I get anxious when I lose two hours at a meeting (especially since they're always ending two hours before the end of the work day) and it's always frustrating for the day to be pretty much gone before you can take action on any thing.
(I used to work earlier hours and staff meeting would end after I was supposed to clock out, and had an evil boss who would give me a honey-do list she wanted done "before the end of the day" and I'd be all "days over honey, I'll get on that first thing tomorrow!".
There's nothing quite like the feels engendered by turning on a computer and getting the boot screen.
Oh, like having that happen to a lighting console the day tech is supposed to start? I know today isn't Monday, but man has today been a Monday.
Oh my god, it is 2.5 hours past my bedtime, and I JUST finished my grades and comments that are due in... oh, God, 8.5 hours.
I really should not have procrastinated this, but spring break was so PRETTY.
Okay. Sleep. Good night.
I really should not have procrastinated this, but spring break was so PRETTY.
HA! Oh Gris, I laugh because I AM THIS. Spring Break has just started for me, and Future Pix is already giving Present Pix the stinkeye.
Get some sleep!
Speaking of break, ND and I are headed to Arizona tomorrow to meet up with my mom and spend time with my aunt and uncle. I’m super excited to see them. We’re doing a belated 70/40 birthday celebration (Mom turned 70 in December; I turned 40 in February).
Head pats, teacher/grading folk. It sounds difficult and obnoxious.
I am flying back to Indiana tomorrow. But didn't get the things I needed to done today. Boo. So I'll be doing work thurs/fri when I should be on vacation. (I mean, I won't take the vacation days, but I'd rather).
I'm flabbergasted that someone would not know the Oxford comma. But not know it when you're applying for a tech writer position?? My GOD, if that's who they give an interview to, who applied that they DIDNT decide to interview????
Wow, lisah. Amazeballs.
Also sarameg although I guess I should not be surprised anymore that your days are like that.

Future Pix is quite the go-getter, never putting off until tomorrow the stinkeye she could give today.
Yesterday, I was able to make coffee without hardly thinking, no problems. Today, not so much.
But now I have coffee.
lisah, if knowing what the Oxford comma is would get me a job at your company, I would apply. I'd probably answer that question with, "It has its place."
