In sum, hate everything.

I feel like I hurt myself more by sleeping wrong than doing anything else. It's probably not objectively true, but it's such an annoying way to hurt myself, and I don't know how to fix it because what I WANT to do is sleep, like, the right way, but apparently I don't really know how despite the decades of practice.
Not currently happening, btw, but I've been there.
I have resting confused face, by the way.
Attraction is so subjective and I try really hard not to shit on people's happiness. Perhaps when these (cis, het) ladies are burbling about how white-hot a guy is with no dissent, people are just letting them enjoy their beautiful cake?
Yeah, Channing Tatum does nothing for me but I just don't say anything when people I know are getting all het up about him.
Oh, but you know who is pretty beefcake and totally hot to me, who I'd kind of forgotten about until I played the Battlestar Galactica boardgame at my friend's the other day? Tahmoh Penikett.

What did you think of it? (The board game, not Helo.)
I have so much trouble finding Channing Tatum attractive that I can't actually recognize him. He just looks like Undistinguishable Hunky Actor #7 to me.
Of course, I had that problem last night-- watched the Oscars with a friend, and she had to identify all the blondes under 40 for me, because I couldn't tell Emma Stone from Naomi Watts. I wonder if I'm just a tiny bit face-blind?
Congrats on the new job, Amy!
Shrift, the thing about Zurich is that I bet you'd get LOTS of visitors, so you won't have time to be lonely.
Two coworkers had bad cases of the flu in the last week, and I kept thinking I was coming down with it, today. But now I'm home and after a hot toddy and some Brooklyn 9-9, I'm feeling better, so I guess I'm not sick after all. Which is probably just as well, since I only have 3 days of SL built up.
Oooh, hot toddy. I don't feel sick but I might have one anyway.
Yeah, I figure we're all not attracted to at least one of the men/women people of our particular preference cohort are expected to be attracted to. E.g., I, a cis-het woman who loves Jane Austen adaptations and have a Thing for British guys, am completely unmoved by Colin Firth. I mean, he's a great actor, seems like a charming human being, and his Darcy is still THE Darcy AFAIC, but sexual attraction? Not there for me. So anyone can have my share of Colin Firth if they'll give me a share of Sharpe or Boromir-era Sean Bean, or perhaps Tom Mison.

It was the second time I've played and it's pretty fun but ridiculously complicated. Every turn takes like 20 minutes and I can barely figure out what I'm supposed to do each time. My friend whose game it is is a pretty serious gamer but also very patient and a good teacher so that helps. I know it's not strictly speaking a role-playing game but I played as Helo and just used that as an excuse for being cluesless! Very pretty but kinda dumb and, also, very trusting!
Also, I will give up any and all claims to Benedict Cumberbatch for an extra share of Tom Hiddleston.
I also am unmoved by Colin Firth, although he is a fine and charming actor. I enjoyed him in Kingsman, he was the best thing about that one.
You know who's moving me right now? Jason Momoa.
You know who moves everyone but me? The Dean Winchester guy, Jensen Ackles. I mean, if I woke up and found him in my bed, I wouldn't kick him out, but if he wasn't in my bed, I wouldn't invite him there.
