I also am unmoved by Colin Firth, although he is a fine and charming actor. I enjoyed him in
Kingsman,
he was the best thing about that one.
You know who's moving me right now? Jason Momoa.
You know who moves everyone but me? The Dean Winchester guy, Jensen Ackles. I mean, if I woke up and found him in my bed, I wouldn't kick him out, but if he wasn't in my bed, I wouldn't invite him there.
Mmm, Jason Momoa. And now that you've got my brain in a Game of Thrones place, what's-his-face who played Robb Stark.
Shrift, the thing about Zurich is that I bet you'd get LOTS of visitors, so you won't have time to be lonely.
It looks like cost of living is pretty high in Zurich, but I'm probably going to express interest anyway because I'm trying not to rule out anything right now.
Expressing interest seems like a good idea. You can rule it out later if you decide that's best.
ETA: good chocolate, one imagines.
My To Do List is under 400 items! Woohoo!
My To Do List is under 400 items! Woohoo!
OMG, if my To Do list goes over 15, I shut down mentally and watch renovation shows (not coincidentally, how I spent most of today). (Though I did write 2 articles as well).
Also, I will give up any and all claims to Benedict Cumberbatch for an extra share of Tom Hiddleston.
I shall sit with you in the Tom corner. I'm in for both Hiddleston and Mison.
It was the second time I've played and it's pretty fun but ridiculously complicated. Every turn takes like 20 minutes and I can barely figure out what I'm supposed to do each time. My friend whose game it is is a pretty serious gamer but also very patient and a good teacher so that helps. I know it's not strictly speaking a role-playing game but I played as Helo and just used that as an excuse for being cluesless! Very pretty but kinda dumb and, also, very trusting!
Excellent! If you're ever interested, we've played 21 games of BSG in the gaming thread so far, and are currently on the 22nd. (Though it's on pause right now, being held hostage to ND's punishing work schedule.) New players are always welcome. (I perform a GM role, which includes helping newbies make sense of things.)
Of course, I had that problem last night-- watched the Oscars with a friend, and she had to identify all the blondes under 40 for me, because I couldn't tell Emma Stone from Naomi Watts. I wonder if I'm just a tiny bit face-blind?
Emma Stone isn't blonde at the moment. She's back to her usual red.
Colin Firth is just now coming into a period of his life where I think he's hot. Until TTSS, I was all, "Eh, whatevs." but he's growing on me.
Chris Pine is also starting to become hot. I think it's the silver streaks in his manly face hair.
