"He's got a bad case of thinking too much about God."

I love this!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I was unable to stop myself from saying, "God actually wants you to follow your heart and marry the person you truly love, whether it's a boy or a girl. God doesn't care," but just to the kids, not to the crazy man. I wanted to, because I also have a bad case of thinking too much about God (and, clearly, coming to totally different conclusions), but I was trying so hard to obey the awesome wizard teacher and walk away and not engage. It was so hard! I deserve a cookie for managing to mostly keep my God-talk yap shut (mostly).

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Holy crap, JZ. Religious sneak attack. Cree-pee.

"He's got a bad case of thinking too much about God."

Srsly!

My Channing Tatum tolerance (I feel like I was about to say, "You're a cheer-tator, Torrance!") is extremely low. I save Channing for Magic Mike movies, because I am compelled to support Matt Bomer, for he is shiny and crafted out of unicorn hair.

brillig

I liked "She's usually very non-violent." I can picture that being said after said teacher has gone pleasantly medieval on someone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah, field trips!

I didn't get Channing Tatum at all until I saw him in something. He's funny-looking in a photograph.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Channing Tatum was totally likable and funny in both 21 Jump Street movies. He really won me over with those movies.

Always Anti-fascist!

I like Channing. He seems like a nice guy. But that feeling involves no groininess, maybe because I like, well, Poindexters.

Also, I don't think his dancing is sexy because it looks like he has no bones and that weirds me out.

Always Anti-fascist!

I thought that was just me.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I don't find Channing terribly sexy, or an outstanding actor. But he's serviceable in non-challenging roles. His physicality suited Magic Mike and Jupiter Ascending. But I totally get having an actor that you just don't like to watch in a movie. Sylvester Stallone and Tom Cruise both fit that bill for me.
