I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I don't find Channing terribly sexy, or an outstanding actor. But he's serviceable in non-challenging roles. His physicality suited Magic Mike and Jupiter Ascending. But I totally get having an actor that you just don't like to watch in a movie. Sylvester Stallone and Tom Cruise both fit that bill for me.

Because books.

I think Channing Tatum has some charm when he's in a role, but as a model, yeah, not so much. I did not mind looking at him in Magic Mike, though. I had no idea he could dance like that.

I find Channing Tatum charming and likable. I don't find him super attractive most of the time, but he seems to be a genuinely good dude.

It probably means that no one would try to talk to you on public transportation!

Point in its favor, for sure!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Much ~ma, Connie.

I do really want to see Jupiter Ascending, but more for Oscar Winner Eddie Redmayne than for Channing.

Good luck Connie! My dad had cataract surgery this past week. He's being a bad patient and reading more than he should, but isn't having any issues. Other than hating eye drops in general.

I've been faithfully doing my pre-op eye drops, they're surprisingly unstressful. My instructions say I'll be able to do normal eye-related things, though I should avoid things that are "dirty"--emphasis in the notes. But this is why I took a week's vacation this week, so I could see how I react and can get an idea of how work will be next week.

I'm going tonight! To the theatre that serves Red Robin-type food, and has a full bar. YESSSS, BRING ME LOADED POTATO SKINS AND AN ALCOHOLIC MILKSHAKE, THIS MOVIE REQUIRES THEM.
