No snow in sunny Seattle.

So the rest of the country being under ice and snow is all that takes, eh?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

We just have big ugly gross piles of snow, and it is making me grumpy. But even though this is not a mild winter, I think we are more used to it here in Western NY.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Are they replaying the WKC show? Because I thought I caught different ends of the same group judging on Saturday and on Sunday. By which I mean, when I tuned in on Saturday, I saw the Working Group short list trotting around the ring and Best in Working Group get announced. And then on Sunday, I saw the Working Group getting introduced and examined by the judge. Spoiler alert: The Dobie made me want to adopt a Dobie.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I finally tried out that stove top Mac and cheese we were talking about a while ago.

Holy crap, this is life-changing. Now I need to work on some variations.

Our wings are not tired.

brenda, speaking of life-changing, I discovered Costco sells packages of 20 crepes. And they're DELICIOUS. I sauteed a pound of spinach, threw in a bit of feta and OMG the easiest and most delicious crepe ever. Can't wait to put other things in it.

Oh I did not need to know that. Or maybe I did.

My latest super fast OMG so good creation is TJ's Gorgonzola gnocchi cooked with a bag of their frozen kale.

Whoa, area Ys closed at 8:30 tonight (not 10.) Here's hoping they open eventually tomorrow.

Still snowing.

Really want to leave a note for useless neighbor that reads "maybe you could clean your walks with the same dedication that you wash your car and ice up alley in process." But I won't. He's an ass, but his roommate is sweet and it won't do any good. I have no idea why she lives there, and she's stated her rent doesn't include upkeep and she won't be used, so I get that. Maybe the rent is that good and she's got blackmail material (actually, that's not a far stretch at all.)

Ooo, this place is making me want to travel to Italy just to eat there. (Though I'm sure I could find one or two other things to see while in the country...)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Whoa, Monday night tv did not disappoint... until the weather report just now. It's gonna be stupid cold the next few days and the heat in my office still doesn't work.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

My latest super fast OMG so good creation is TJ's Gorgonzola gnocchi cooked with a bag of their frozen kale.

That sounds utterly amazing. And now I have to finish my nightly drink and bundle Matilda off to bed, because tomorrow is another ridiculously early morning (though possibly the last for a while; my bike has been unearthed from the storage space and tuned up, and the boss's holiday Amazon gift card has been transformed into a bike helmet which should arrive by midweek).

The last time I rode my bike regularly, I was in middle school out in the dead quiet suburbs and I used to read a book while riding. Without a helmet. Because I was twelve and phenomenally stupid. Will NOT be pulling that shit on the streets of San Francisco.
