Can we talk about last night's Downton???
MISS EDITH, NOOOOOOO. This is, like, the one thing that will cause me to immediately lose all sympathy for any character on TV forever. Biological parenthood does not trump RAISING THE DAMN KID. Chief, you can't just hand Hot Dog your three year-old, and Miss Edith, you cannot just KIDNAP A TODDLER. I get that you gave birth to her and you're very sad about that, but she is not. your. kid.
She's just a mess. I can't.
And Grammy fashion.
The images I am seeing from the red carpet are hideous. RiRi makes me laugh a thousand laughs, but most ppl looked bad. Anna Kendrik looked hot. Taylor looked nice, not loving the dress, loved the color. Ppl looked old. Trying to hard. Or as in every year, my biggest complaint, rockers wanting to do Hollywood glamor. Why stick with the ball gown shtick? Where's the leather and silly fun?
After half an hour of triaging my e-mail from Friday (and coming in 15 minutes late) I am only now getting my coffee. It's gonna be a long day.
Yes - what you all said about Downton. I don't know what
Lady Edith thinks is going to happen. Just so wrong.
Suzi, what genres/authors do you enjoy? I'm pretty busy today, but I would work up a list of possible tomorrow!
Oy. My counterpart in the East has been future endeavored. As of right now, I am covering the entire country. As of 9 am I had no travel plans for the next 2 weeks. By 11, I was told to be in DC and Raleigh next Thursday and Friday.
Goodbye free time. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Jesse, it's ridiculous that you have to be at work today. Please be careful heading home.
Oh jeez, Maria. I know how that feels, and it is a super sucky feeling. I hope you are able/allowed to push back a bit and have others share the burden soon!!
There are very few of us in the office, obviously. It's just so dumb that any of us are! At least I get tough points.
