I've been loving the Great British Baking Show ... they're VERY demanding in regard to both taste and presentation (I'm not - once you cut into something, it's not going to look so nice). And sometimes it's hard to figure out what the English means to USians.
The complexity of the stuff they bake is amazing. That torte last night was impressive.
The multi-layer cakes with the fantastic caramel things on top? yes! And the princess cakes? wow
I have laid the groundwork to call in sick tomorrow.

They are in Australia. I was supposed to go water their plants last week and flaked. Also supposed to take any usable good out of their fridge.
