hip deep in pie

My second thought is...if it's a historic storm and I don't get a snow day, I will be pissed.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Wow, East Coast people! Stay warm and take lots of pictures.

Meanwhile we're having historic weather in the other direction out here. Which isn't quite so dramatic, but I did have a lot of "OMG I can't believe how few layers I'm wearing and it feels more like April than January!" conversations when I was out running errands yesterday. Today it's supposed to get into the 60's, which would be perfectly normal for JUNE.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Grocery shopped and chipped the ice off the sidewalk in front and some of the driveway after I saw the most diligent neighbor doing it on her side. It's really warm here today, FTR. By which I mean 30s.

Now I'm cooking chicken for a recipe I'm going to make later. It called for pre-cooked chicken and also broth, so I threw some stock veg into the water I'm now cooking the chicken in -- two birds, one stone!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Stay warm NYCistas. Somehow, we in WI dodged that bullet; like Jesse we're in the low-mid-30s and grateful for the January heat wave.

Andi, you have my sympathies. I've had to deal with that kind of behavior way to much in my current job. I've giving the place six more months and then I'm outta there.

Because books.

I think they're only predicting 1-3 inches for us! Which seems weird. I guess we'll see.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Looks like they're just predicting 1-3 inches here.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Sean, we have had times like that and it totally blows.I hope it works out for you, and PS experts don't know everything. WS, that is one of many reasons why I hope never to live like that again. Usually, the most dependable activity was the endless rounds of Power Struggle(sometimes people's parents would play, too. It was awesome. Not.)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I half way cleaned up my room. It is still a mess, but most of the clothes are put away.

I found 3 things to get rid of.

Maybe I deal with a little bit of paper?

god everything sucks and is hard and I have negative motivation and 1000 times more complaining than anyone needs.
