I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I half way cleaned up my room. It is still a mess, but most of the clothes are put away.

I found 3 things to get rid of.

Maybe I deal with a little bit of paper?

god everything sucks and is hard and I have negative motivation and 1000 times more complaining than anyone needs.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw, msbelle, you are so hard on yourself! I see a funny and interesting woman, a stalwart and loving single mom, a person smarter than her job and an amazing person.

My house is a pit and nothing to be done about that. I feel bad for not skipping the swim to help more, but I also really need that time inside my head today. My back is doing that crawling thing and that's partially from the actual physicality of packing and partly Karen leaving and the obit and all of it.

Got the work laptop at least.

They’re now saying 20″–30″. The biggest snowstorm on record for NYC is 26.9″.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Wow--stay safe, northeastern-istas! We're expecting to get rain in NC. Far less exciting.

Wow, that's a lot of snow. My exroommate is visiting and supposed to fly back to Newark tomorrow. Um. Maybe not. (Which sucks because it's not like I'll be here to enjoy extra time with her!!). Though it's supposed to be 60 and sunny in Seattle tomorrow (and is currently gorgeous and sunny today also)

Stay safe, people to the north!

They are saying we might get an inch tonight, and a couple more inches tomorrow, mostly during Monday into Tuesday. My kid has missed 8 days of school of the last 12 from illness, and another from a cancellation. The DH and I are pretending things are done a lot at our respective jobs.

JenP - Jan 25, 2015 11:02:07 am PST #16973 of 30000

I think they're only predicting 1-3 inches for us! Which seems weird. I guess we'll see.

Yes, I hope they're right. Either way, I have a virtual workday tomorrow because of it, so yay.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Whereas in the PNW it's sunny and warm, tshirt weather. So bizarre. And they say global climate wierding is not A Thing.

JenP - Jan 25, 2015 11:13:40 am PST #16975 of 30000

And stay safe and warm those farther north! I should have included that. I thought it.
