And... hell. I just started to type a teasing set of super-snuggly hugs to the non-huggers, and then remembered msbelle informing ita that she was a fluffy bunny, and felt sick all over again. Hugs anyway. Hugs, and possibly gin.

Workplaces need to back the hell off.

Right now I just wish my workplace would let me have a lighter laptop. Ugh. It's huge (and juuuuust doesn't fit in the neat bag I just bought and will have to return). And I don't know if it's all the travel the past few weeks, or stress, or what, but my back is all jacked up right now--to the point that even though I took a flexeril last night before bed, today I'm still in pain and my arms keep getting numb. Ugh. Took another flexeril and a heating pad, been using the foam roller, am hoping I"ll feel better soon. Ow.

I'm sorry about all the work jerks causing problems and unhappiness for Buffistas.

I tend to not think of people in their board names much anymore. Some people it is still all I know, but with Facebook I know most real names and that is how I think of most you. Doubly so if I have met you. Others said they think of us in board names. What say you?

I don't mind being called "Heather," but I do think there are enough here that it could get confusing. When I wrote my first fic I chose the name "Calligrafiti" so that my then-bosses wouldn't know I wrote semi-smutty fanfic. "Calli" feels like a nickname, which I kinda like. I tend to think of other board members by their board names if I've interacted with them solely online and, generally, by their given names if I've met them in person.

Callaluna, I'm glad your mom's feeling better. Amy, I'm happy to hear you've found a safe space to regroup.

One of my work neighbors' favorite exclamation is "Sweet Mother of Monkeys!" They're amusing.

I have had a rough day, so Ben & Jerry's right out of the carton seemed like a good plan. And it doesn't even taste good to me! My taste buds are still all jacked up from my tonsillectomy and dairy products are the nastiest.

And I am still eating it. I feel shame.

Edit: And I just heard my brother has been approved for emergency leave (he's in the Army) and is heading home tomorrow. And I am not. I am happy for him and happy mom will have someone with her and I also want to smash things.

I've switched to Pringles, which still taste good. With a Xanax chaser.

WRT names: how did "Teppy" come to be? I've always wondered. The only place my mind goes to is tepid which seems not at all appropriate in any way.

Going home and pulling the covers over one's head is a good plan that I fully support.

I have asked for all Friday's in February off - partially to make it more possible for me to attend the memorial when it happens, and partially because I need a staycation to get my house in shape to be left when I go on vacation in March. It's not fit for my mother to be coming over and feeding the cats right now.

I want a cupcake and tea. And to crawl into my bed and watch all the stuff piling up on the DVR. I'm absolutely useless right now.
