WRT names: how did "Teppy" come to be? I've always wondered. The only place my mind goes to is tepid which seems not at all appropriate in any way.

Going home and pulling the covers over one's head is a good plan that I fully support.
I have asked for all Friday's in February off - partially to make it more possible for me to attend the memorial when it happens, and partially because I need a staycation to get my house in shape to be left when I go on vacation in March. It's not fit for my mother to be coming over and feeding the cats right now.
I want a cupcake and tea. And to crawl into my bed and watch all the stuff piling up on the DVR. I'm absolutely useless right now.
Dvr watching sounds like a plan.
I make awesome cupcakes, but they'd be nasty by the time they arrived. Virtual cupcakes to you, Allyson.
I would love to be close enough to bring you cupcakes and tea, Allyson. Getting lost in the DVR is an excellent idea. You need to take care of you.
There was a former poster whose name had Tep in it and someone jokingly suggested she go by Teppy. Her response was HELL NO. And Steph was like - Teppy is cool! I'll be Teppy.
And now we have Teppy.
Allyson, you have very pretty hair. I'm sorry that work sucks. I wish everyone could get tomorrow off to just take care of themselves.
And hugs all around to everyone.
{{{Allyson}}}. Your hair is the prettiest and could use some mindless entertainment. Helps it grow faster and shinier.
You should have cupcakes and tea and DVR time, Allyson. If there's anyway I can help make that happen please let me know.
It's not cupcakes, but I went on a plain chocolate digestives binge last week. Discovered that my local methmeyers (fred meyers, but in an area where one tends to consistently encounter tweakers in the pkg lot) has McVities dark chocolate biscuits in both the traditional plastic wrapper and the "grab and go" hard cyclinder like pringles can. Today with my mid morning tea (at 1pm. but my hours are non-traditional) I have one of each, just to do a side by side taste testing. I can report that the packaging is just packaging and the product inside tastes identical.
