Dear brain:
I am allowed to go cash in that free pizza coupon I have, then take it and some cold diet Coke to a shady nearby park and eat it. You're allowed to step out of the routines. In fact, this is the first of many. Get practicing.
Damn, change makes me nauseous.
Well, that was a tedious evening. I am teaching a class in DC starting tomorrow at 9am, so I went to work all day, then caught the bus to the airport, did the whole spiel, then 15 minutes before I was scheduled to board they cancelled the flight (weather). mr. flea and the kids came to get me, we stopped at McDonald's because they hadn't had dinner, and got home at 8:30. And now I have to be back at the airport for a 6:15 am flight, arrive at 7:50, catch a cab and hopefully be ready to teach at 9am. Ugh. I suppose I should take a shower now rather than at 4am.
msbelle, when you're around, insent to your profile addy.
Oh ugh, flea! That sucks.
You can make new routines, keep old ones, or have none at all, Connie.
Anne, I responded. I hope that wasn't confusing or discouraging. I am working on it.
It was very helpful. I'm so sorry for bothering you!
NOT A BOTHER!!
Suzi, Jen P, Ginger - insent.
Everyone adapts. Lucky was Rob's cat, and now she's mine. It's different, but we all eventually managed.
My foster puppy wasn't mine when I took her on. She's really my dog now, especially if you ask her. In time she might be her owner's again... It's all different but we form relationships based on where we are, even pets.
I'm sorry, lisah
and new things might be good, if wrong right now
